December days

When the December and the cold, cold December days arrive, we know that winter is a step away from us and that the autumn of our town will soon be replaced by its endless whiteness. The old year is at its peak and is closer to new, full of joy and holiday spells.

Each year, December we are treated with the first snowflakes. As the silks slide down from heavenly heights, they gently flutter in the air and turn around like a ballerina. Wearing winds fall on the roofs of the house, covering parks, streets and courtyards, and plaiting a white lace on the windows of children's rooms. With their mischievous game they cause a smile on the children's faces and invite them to go out and play together. December days are days in which nature begins to slowly sink into its deep winter dream. There is no buzz of birds, because the migrators have long gone to the south, and the sparrows are hiding in their little nests scared by the winter and the cold it brings. While nature goes to sleep, the chimneys are. From them a high smoke rises up to the sky, when the wind blows away, throwing a gentle white snowflake on it. Although there is no cheerful chirping of birds and coldness closes all around, the December days are full of joy. Winter silence breaks up childish scares and screams of wooden sleds. Dressed in warm clothes, boys and girls with a smile on their face run across a white blanket. They do not bother cold and cold. While the flakes are gently beautiful for their yellow faces and the snow falls under their swift feet, they enjoy the beauty that December day. Some of them will enjoy the beauty of the December night as they walk along the streets of the city that gleam with a multitude of lights and New Year decorations glittering in the dark.

In the days of decebrum when the first snow falls, gentle snowflakes with their crystalline splendor retrieve the gray in the late autumn and all around us shine with endless shine. Trees dressed in white clothes, lawns covered in white carpet and surrounded by the streets remind us that winter is coming, and with it New year and New Year's gifts that give us December holidays on their departure.
